Why plastic!?
It is heartbreaking to a young girl for her mother to tell her that she cannot have "that kind of earring". Growing up I didn't have much choice on the type of jewelry I was able to wear due to a severe allergy to nickel. My only option was plastic posted earrings which usually were only simple shapes or balls of color. Gold is the only other option, I don't know about you but I'm not putting gold earrings on my 2 year old!
Today, earrings are difficult to find completely plastic, and when you do find them, they cost an arm and a leg!
Unfortunately my daughter has been afflicted with the same allergy as I, and she is my inspiration!

Accessories are not worth the pain that my daughter has had to go through just to wear earrings (her earlobes were essentially separated from her head at one point).
My goal is to hand-make earrings that will make moms happy for the price, as well as daughters happy for the choice!!!
